Commitment to Prayer
|
E.M. Bounds wrote, "True prayer must be aflame. The Christian
life needs to be all on fire. Not to be consumingly interested about
the things of heaven, is not to be interested in them at all." This
is what fuels our prayer ministry at Pathway. It is our desire to be
people who are both "heavenly-minded" AND "earthly good." We
recognize that one of the primary ways to do that is by
connecting with God through intimate prayer. Therefore, at
Pathway, we are strategic in developing those communication
lines, both corporately and privately.
Every Tuesday evening at 6:00pm, a group of committed
prayer warriors meets at the Penobscot Christian
School to lift
their praises, requests, and burdens to the Lord. We're
always
looking for more prayers! If you are interested, consider yourself
invited!
As well, we have an online prayer team that is committed to
pray for daily posted prayer requests that come our way. If you
are interested in being a part of this important prayer ministry,
contact Kelly Frye.
"My secret is very simple: I pray. Through prayer I become one
in love with Christ. I realize that praying to Him is loving Him"
